Summer School: Chemistry and formulation for cosmetics
From June 22nd to July 10th, 2020
ESCOM Chimie benefits from a well-established expertise and network in chemistry and cosmetics.
This summer school programme intends to provide you with complementary knowledge and skills in formulation and cosmetics science over three thematic weeks :
- Week 1 : Formulation and cosmetics applications
- Week 2 : Fragrances & flavours
- Week 3 : Encapsulation, active delivery & skin care
Different types of learning will be associated to combine theory, practice and field trips :
- Conferences and seminars with international academics and high-level speakers from the cosmetic industry (L’Oréal, Solvay, Chanel, Givaudan, Takasago…)
- Visits of international-level companies
- Practical applications in laboratory
This programme also includes cultural activities with survival French courses, visits in Paris and of historical surroundings of Compiègne

Admission requirements :
We are looking for students with a chemical background, more precisely with at least two years of studies in chemistry or any field linked (chemical engineering, biochemistry…). Fees and details of services are described in the following application form.
You will be accommodated at Résidence du Parc, 2 minutes walking distance from ESCOM.
Depending on availabilities, you could be accommodated in a shared flat (4 students maximum) with 4 independent rooms, 2 bathrooms and a kiTchen or individual flat with independent kitchen and bathroom.
